Early 20th Century smoker's compendium cabinet

This wonderful smoker's compendium cabinet is made of oak and metal and is probably English and probably made c 1910 - 1920s. It is made as a double fronted crenelated gatehouse with a metal portcullis, arched windows with metal grilles and metal arrow slits in the shape of crosses. The doors open out to reveal 6 compartments - the bottom open one runs the length of the base above is a central open compartment flanked by two sets of drawers with brass handles. The cabinet locks. There is a registration number and the numbers "3" & "9" incised into the base below the portcullis. A great thing that could be used to store jewellery or stationery items.
